2010-05-01 When less is more

To cut a long story short - we're back online again with some very important news:

The kids grow nicely and it's time for next level: Biking!

So Lucca who already was a great biker with the "Rotelle" (the little adding wheels at the back for beginners) was willing to take a challenge. Lu and his dad took a bet: Lucca will get the new nice mountain bike once he knows how to ride a bike without the "Rotelle" (let's be serious about this: Mountainbike with "Rotelle" would be like listening to David Hasselhoff on a Harley)...

But this was a very very bad bet, as we completely underestimated Lucca... We bet on Friday evening, took off the "Rotelle" in the bike shop and started training this morning. What can I say - looks like someone lost a bet in 15 minutes and Lucca will get a new bike within the next days.....

2009-04-04 Lucca Swimming

We posted already quite some images of Lucca taking his swimming lessons - but as we can post real good quality videos, and Lucca is also dropping the supports to swim every now and then, we thought it would be nice to show you the 'real dolpin' again in action.

2009-03-29 Eric decides: No more "Stampele" for Papa

Some things are easier said than done - some others so easy, they come without words. In this specific case, Eric saw papa walking without the sticks and thought: Papa, you don't need these things anymore!

So without any major words, he just took these silly things and deposited them elsewhere...

What else could/should he've been done with them anyway?

And so this was the day, when Eric officially decided: Papa - No more "Stampele"! - Now let's see what the doctor will decide ...

2009-03-07 CARS at home

„Speed – I am Speed – Loosers! I eat loosers for breakfast! I am...“ ... Lucca Lightning McQueen...Or did you think of somebody and something else?

CARS are again latest fashion in the 'Casa d'Enricies' – actually for both Lucca and Eric. Both crazy after Lightning, Sally, Dinoco and Doc and the rest of the Gang, but yet undecided if they prefer Mater or Hook. What's the difference? None, but Mater is Mater in the english version – Hook is 'Mater' in the German version. So it is at least twice Cars a day...

Not so often, but much more exiting is the own little Cars race Lucca and Christian are having – putting the Carrera-Racing gear in the living room and turning silence into Formula One... Forza Ferrari – Forza McQueen – Forza Dinoco – and go away you nasty Chick Hicks!!!

2009-03-06 The fun of taking kids to school

Whow, a grand day out – Eric, Lucca, Cristina and Christian finally managed to go all together out one morning to bring Eric and Lucca to their Nido resp. Scuola (well, it was the biggest success for „Stampele-Joe“-Christian to join this one.). So finally Christian could see some of the masterpieces that Lucca and is friends did at Scuola.

2009-02-16 Meet Wall-E

Lucca's latest friend is Wall-E – the little robot cleaning up the world, and his first movie seen in Cinema (did we post, link). Lucca is so crazy about Wall-E and Eve, he even made them a drawing.

2009-02-14 Living in a box

Did we tell you? Eric is crazy after sitting in a box – not that these are needed to keep some order in the house (well maybe, most order would be achieved to store Lucca and Eric within one of these boxes, each ;-)

But hey, look, Lucca and Eric are both crazy after the boxes – would this be the beginning, of what in Germany is called „Seifenkistenrennen“? Maybe it just needs some wheels underneath and 2 airbags – they are crazy after 'Cars' already – who's gonna win the PISTON-CUP?
